Every tour is private, scheduled on dates of your choice, beginning and ending on a Monday in Bamako; there are no fixed-date scheduled departures.
Contact us for prices. Groups of any size are welcome. Be sure to specify the month/year of travel, and how many persons are in your party—prices are digressive, so a better value per person for a party of four than a party of two, etc.
Regretfully this desert tour is temporarily unavailable, due to insecurity in the desert.

NB: camping is no frills, sleeping on a ground mattress in a small tent; there are no campgrounds, so no running water, no latrines. Camping in Mali is not recommended for inexperienced campers.
NB: Domestic flights are subject to availability; if flights are not available, add two days for roundtrip overland transportation to/from Timbuktu.

- 15 nights camping in the desert and desert towns; bring your sleeping bags, other camping gear provided
- all-inclusive desert excursion: Tuareg desert guide, camels, camp cook; all meals in the desert (as outlined above)
- all hotel taxes, local tourism taxes and site visit fees, as per tour program
- airport transfers upon international arrival and departure in Mali (Bamako)
Optional excursion on the river to see the hippos: 150 Euros
Tour does not include international travel to/from Bamako; Mali visas; non-specified meals, drinks/bottled water; sleeping bags; optional excursion, tips and personal expenses.
